Description

Own the stability and support of the production software processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support application source code, components, and third-party software subsystems.
• Detect, diagnose, and report production problems and failures.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, problems, or known errors related to application and supporting software.
• Assist programming staff with application software amends, performance tuning, and resource consumption analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for application software support.

Required Skills

• 7-12 years of experience in Linux Application Support.
• Hands-on Unix/Linux administration.
• Proficiency in scripting using Shell, Python, or Groovy.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of Apache Tomcat and Java deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Groovy pipelines, Jenkins setup, and configuration.
