Description

You will manage and integrate systems within existing infrastructure using SaltStack and SUSE Manager.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain servers daily, performing backups, file replications, and script management.
• Test and apply software updates and maintenance patches to ensure system stability.
• Create and maintain custom packages for the RPM Package Manager.
• Implement and test disaster recovery procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux administration.
• Proficiency with RHEL 5 and 6 installation tools: Kickstart, PXE, YUM, and RHN.
• Solid knowledge of networking protocols including TCP, UDP, and routing.
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and SMTP.
• Experience managing Apache web servers and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
• Experience with RPM Package Manager.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of EMC SAN, RAID configuration, and SAN devices.
• Knowledge of network security practices and architectures.
