Description

You will manage and optimize Linux server environments across physical and virtual infrastructures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux builds, installations, configurations, and troubleshooting for base systems, security, and patching.
• Manage and deploy system integration tools including Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm.
• Develop scripts to automate infrastructure tasks, patching, and configuration.
• Execute disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure system availability.
• Improve existing infrastructure by implementing technology best practices and cross-application integrations.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator.
• Expertise in administration and troubleshooting of RHEL/CentOS and Ubuntu.
• Experience with Linux performance tuning, optimization, and security configuration.
• Proficiency with patching via yum and APT repositories.
• Hands-on experience with Configuration Management and IaC tools such as Salt or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, specifically GitLab or Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of COTS and FOSS storage solutions.
• Experience with highly available and scalable systems and applications.
• Active Top Secret SCI clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 3+ years of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Agile practices.
