Description

Job Responsibilities

Perform Linux operating system patching and upgrades across a large enterprise environment.

Execute monthly browser updates and maintenance activities to support PCI compliance requirements.

Support operating system and browser upgrade initiatives on multiple platforms, including NCR and Elo systems.

Run and troubleshoot Linux scripts to automate administration and maintenance tasks.

Utilize Bash scripting to support operational efficiencies and system management.

Work with Red Hat to review CVEs, evaluate risks, and assist with remediation planning.

Leverage Red Hat Satellite and basic API functionality to support patching and upgrade activities.

Required Qualifications

3-4 years of Linux Systems Administration experience.

Experience supporting large Linux environments containing 5,000+ systems.

Working knowledge of Linux command-line interface (CLI).

Experience running and troubleshooting scripts in Linux environments.

Strong Bash scripting skills.

Experience with Linux OS patching and upgrades.

Basic understanding of Red Hat Satellite and API calls
