Description

Maintain and secure Linux-based infrastructure, managing servers, virtualization, storage, and authentication services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers running RHEL, SuSE, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication using FreeIPA and/or OpenLDAP.
• Configure and administer NFS, CXFS, and other file systems for storage requirements.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain backup solutions using Veeam Backup Service.
• Administer and troubleshoot virtual machine environments using KVM and VMware.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing Linux servers across multiple distributions.
• Proficiency in RHEL, SuSE, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu.
• Experience with Bash and Python for automation scripting.
• Familiarity with NFS and file system management.
• Knowledge of FreeIPA and/or OpenLDAP for authentication.
• Experience administering backup solutions, specifically Veeam.
• Experience with KVM and VMware virtualization.
• Proficiency with Ansible.
