Description

Manage Linux server migrations, web application deployments, and network infrastructure maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate RHEL 8/9 server migrations between data centers, managing data synchronization and DNS settings.
• Deploy web applications to Apache HTTP Server while enforcing proper file permissions and security settings.
• Automate Linux server migrations to the cloud and manage code bundle transfers using Jenkins CI/CD.
• Manage storage using Logical Volume Management (LVM) to optimize disk space and device utilization.
• Execute server patching via scripts to address security policies and database vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Proficiency with RHEL (versions 8 and 9).
• Hands-on experience with Apache HTTP Server.
• Strong Bash or Shell scripting skills for process automation.
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of LVM (Logical Volume Management).
• Solid understanding of networking protocols: DNS, DHCP, LDAP, HTTP, HTTPS, and TCP/IP.
• Experience using Splunk for log analysis and debugging.
• Familiarity with Nagios 4.4 and Tivoli v6.3.0.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ITSM tools for incident and problem management.
