Description

You will manage and develop computing and infrastructure systems across private and public cloud environments. You own the release pipeline and daily operations for Linux server instances.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for Linux server instances across private and public clouds including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Execute patch planning, vulnerability assessments, and workflow design for quarterly security updates across multiple distributions.
• Perform proactive performance monitoring, capacity planning, and system tuning.
• Maintain thorough documentation for technical processes, system configurations, and procedures.
• Coordinate and execute approved changes during maintenance windows within a 24x7 on-call environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, Suse, and Debian.
• 4+ years of experience developing Ansible playbooks, Shell, and Python scripts.
• Experience with automation for complex operational and administrative tasks.
• Proficiency with VMware, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Hands-on experience with security tools including McAfee, Cisco AMP, Nessus Tenable, Tanium, and Dell Secureworks Red Cloak.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms on-prem and in public clouds.
• Expertise in monitoring, performance tuning, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
