Description

Manage and develop computing and infrastructure systems across private and public cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Linux server instances across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Execute patch planning, vulnerability assessments, and workflow design for quarterly security updates.
• Perform proactive performance monitoring, capacity planning, and system tuning to ensure resource availability.
• Implement security policies and maintain operational security within data center computing operations.
• Coordinate and execute approved changes during maintenance windows in a 24x7 on-call environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Ubuntu, Suse, and Debian.
• 4+ years developing Ansible playbooks, Shell, and Python scripts for automation.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Proficiency with security tools: McAfee, Cisco AMP, Nessus Tenable, Tanium, and Dell Secureworks Red Cloak.
• Experience managing infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms on-prem and in public clouds.
• Expertise in monitoring, performance tuning, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
