Description

You will administer and support RHEL-based Linux systems, handling OS upgrades, patching, and security hardening.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain system configurations using Puppet with Roles & Profiles.
  • Author Puppet modules, manifests, templates (ERB/EPP), and custom facts.
  • Manage configuration data using Hiera and Eyaml.
  • Troubleshoot Linux, Puppet agent, SSL, and Hiera issues.
  • Support VMware environments and enterprise infrastructure.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience administering RHEL-based Linux systems.
  • Hands-on Puppet module authoring and manifest design.
  • Proficiency with ERB/EPP templates and custom facts.
  • Experience managing configuration data via Hiera and Eyaml.
  • Strong YAML syntax knowledge.
  • Experience with Git/Github for version control.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
