Description

You will manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Linux systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux distributions including Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, Suse, and Debian.
• Monitor server performance, diagnose issues, and implement tuning to ensure optimal operations.
• Manage security measures, including firewall configurations, access controls, and regular patching.
• Develop backup strategies and test recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
• Automate administrative tasks using scripting and automation tools.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Proficiency with Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, Suse, and Debian.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM, VMware, or Docker.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Knowledge of system monitoring tools and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or CompTIA Linux+ certifications.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
