Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise Linux servers across development, test, and production environments.
• Manage system installations, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle activities for Linux server and guest OS images.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across operating system, hardware, storage, and network layers.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Support critical incidents, implement permanent fixes, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

Skills Required:

• 8-12 years of relevant Linux system administration experience.
• Strong hands-on Linux system administration experience across RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar enterprise distributions.
• Expertise in Bash, Python, PowerShell, and shell scripting for automation and operational support.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud-hosted Linux workloads across VMware, KVM, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to manage access, security patching, vulnerability remediation, and operational support through ServiceNow.

Good to Have:

• PuTTY, Azure DevOps, and GitHub experience in Linux operations environments.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
