Description

You will manage and maintain Red Hat Linux infrastructure across virtual and physical environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Red Hat Linux infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Execute end-to-end OS patching and vulnerability assessments.
• Handle VM provisioning, configuration, resizing, and maintenance.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity management.
• Support application and database teams with system administration and guidance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with shell scripting for task automation.
• Understanding of networking and SAN storage related to RHEL.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure agents such as NetBackup and BMC Patrol.
• Ability to manage incidents, changes, and problems within IT standards.
• Experience supporting both virtual and physical machine environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure and GCP.
• Familiarity with Solaris, IBM AIX, and ITIL processes.
