Description

You will manage and secure Linux server instances across private and public cloud environments, resolving complex operational issues and maintaining system stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, Suse, and Debian systems in AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Develop and execute automation scripts using Ansible, Shell, and Python for operational tasks.
• Manage Kubernetes cluster design, monitoring, performance tuning, and maintenance.
• Perform proactive capacity planning, performance monitoring, and quarterly security patch updates.
• Coordinate change management and execute maintenance windows in a 24/7 on-call environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience administering RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Suse, or Debian Linux.
• 4+ years developing Ansible playbooks, Shell, and Python scripts.
• Expertise in Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with VMware, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Familiarity with security tools including McAfee, Cisco AMP, Nessus, Tenable, Tanium, or Dell Secureworks Red Cloak.

Preferred Skills

• Project management experience for infrastructure initiatives.
• Experience with cost/benefit analysis for technology evaluations.
