Manage and maintain Linux infrastructure in Montgomery, AL. Ensure 24/7 uptime, security, and reliability for production systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems including Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
• Monitor server performance and security to ensure continuous availability and system stability.
• Apply security patches, manage firewalls, and enforce system security protocols.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline routine operations.
• Implement backup solutions for data integrity and disaster recovery, and document all system configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering Linux systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python for automation tasks.
• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of server security, patching, and firewall management.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve server-level technical issues and hardware failures.
• Any Graduate degree.
