You will manage and maintain core enterprise IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Setup, configure, fine-tune, and troubleshoot services, focusing on IBM Websphere and AS/MQ.
• Implement and manage security measures, including firewall configuration, patching, and system monitoring.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and ProxMox, optimizing resource allocation.
• Configure and manage backup systems, developing and testing disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor system performance and capacity proactively to optimize resources and identify potential issues.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in systems administration and managing corporate IT environments.
• Proficiency with Unix and Linux operating systems, including Red Hat versions 5.x through 9.x, covering patching and troubleshooting.
• Operational experience with MQ queues, DHCP, and DNS protocols.
• Understanding of security concepts: role management, user permissions, clustering, and High Availability (HA).
• Knowledge of WebSphere and AS/MQ products, SOA, and microservices architectures.
• Experience managing Active Directory, Certification Authority, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Strong knowledge of shell scripting languages and implementing scripts for bulk operations.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, VPN, and firewall concepts and their interaction with system administration.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
