Description

You will manage and maintain core enterprise IT infrastructure, focusing on IBM WebSphere and AS/MQ.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot IBM WebSphere and AS/MQ services.
• Implement security measures including firewall configuration, patching, and system monitoring.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, ProxMox) and optimize resource allocation.
• Configure backup systems and develop disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor system performance and capacity to proactively identify issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in systems administration and corporate IT environments.
• Proficiency with Unix and Linux (Red Hat 5.x–9.x), including patching and troubleshooting.
• Operational experience with MQ queues, DHCP, and DNS protocols.
• Understanding of security concepts: role management, user permissions, clustering, and High Availability.
• Knowledge of WebSphere, AS/MQ, SOA, and microservices architectures.
• Experience managing Active Directory, Certification Authority, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Strong shell scripting skills for implementing bulk operations.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, VPN, and firewall concepts.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with disaster recovery testing and execution.
