Description

You will manage and support Linux platforms within an enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and troubleshooting for RHEL and CentOS platforms.
• Build and deploy automated server and workstation builds across logically separated environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement mitigation strategies for complex hardware and software issues.
• Manage patching, software upgrades, and service pack research to maintain server builds.
• Lead disaster recovery measures and participate in post-incident reviews to improve automation and tooling.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in system administration.
• Hands-on experience with RHEL and CentOS.
• Proficiency with SNMP and Splunk for network and systems monitoring.
• Experience with cloud computing, capacity planning, and data center organization.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high availability architectures.
• Practical understanding of encryption, IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs, or SSL.
• Ability to develop, maintain, and document system designs, wiring diagrams, and rack elevations.
• Competency in managing service level agreements (SLAs) and incident management processes.
