Description

You will manage and maintain Linux-based server environments in a remote, asynchronous setting.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers to ensure stability and performance.
• Develop scripts using Shell, Python, Ruby, or Go to automate system tasks.
• Manage code and configuration changes using Git.
• Implement and maintain continuous integration workflows.
• Contribute to upstream projects and open-source improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering Linux servers.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting.
• Moderate experience with Python, Ruby, or Go.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Understanding of continuous integration systems and concepts.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an asynchronous remote environment.
• Graduate degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with deb packaging, archive administration, or image building.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or Concourse.
