Automate Linux host provisioning, configuration, and image management while ensuring infrastructure reliability and security compliance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Automate Linux host provisioning, configuration, patching, and image management using Ansible and custom scripts.
• Manage Linux system services, AMIs, and container base images across AWS and hybrid cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex OS, performance, and production issues to maintain system stability.
• Improve infrastructure reliability through automation, system design, and security initiatives including FedRAMP compliance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Linux system administration in production environments.
• Strong scripting and automation experience with Python and Ruby.
• Experience with AWS and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for container management.
• Experience creating and managing AMIs and container base images.
• Excellent troubleshooting and system debugging skills.
• Familiarity with Go/C is preferred for automation tasks.
