Description

You will manage and maintain enterprise Linux environments with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems within an enterprise environment.
• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise applications including Apache, Tomcat, and MoveIt.
• Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure using vCenter, ESXi, and vLCM.
• Configure Linux authentication via LDAP, Kerberos, and Active Directory integration.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Perl, or PowerShell to streamline system operations.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Linux system administration experience, specifically with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent field.
• Experience managing VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, vLCM).
• Proficiency with file systems including NFS, CIFS, and XFS.
• Experience with Red Hat Samba and Linux authentication (LDAP, Kerberos, AD integration).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, and IAM.
• Ability to write automation scripts in Bash, Perl, or PowerShell.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills

• 6+ years of experience installing and maintaining Apache, Tomcat, and MoveIt.
