Description

You will support enterprise Unix/Linux environments through daily operations, system administration, and production troubleshooting.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and provide operational support for UCAL GWIM, Bacardi, and CARD servers.
• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions 7, 8, and 9.
• Troubleshoot technical issues within critical production environments, including server storage, memory, and advanced network problems.
• Use shell scripting to automate tasks and improve operational processes.
• Document technical processes and implement system improvements.

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience in Linux system engineering.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7, 8, and 9.
• Experience with Active Directory, QAS, and SSSD authentication integration.
• Hands-on use of automation tools including Netcool, Atrium Orchestrator, and BladeLogic.
• Experience working within BMC Remedy and ITSM environments.
• Strong knowledge of server storage and memory concepts.
• Ability to perform advanced network troubleshooting.
