Description

Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure across on-premises VMware and AWS cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and manage VMware vSphere environments including ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.
• Design and deploy secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and routine tasks using CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to support infrastructure needs and lead infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, perform system upgrades, patching, and participate in incident response.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
• 5+ years of experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
