Description

Manage and support large-scale Linux environments within a DoD-supported infrastructure, administering Hadoop and Accumulo clusters.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer large Hadoop and Accumulo-based clusters to ensure operational stability.
• Troubleshoot system issues to maintain environment reliability.
• Identify customer requirements and communicate technical needs across the team.
• Interface with hardware, network, and infrastructure support teams.
• Provide after-hours support to meet changing operational requirements.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in Linux System Administration.
• Hands-on expertise with Accumulo.
• Proven experience managing Hadoop clusters.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Poly.
• Familiarity with cloud-based repositories and associated technologies.
• Master’s degree and 12+ years of professional experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of professional experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
