Description

Manage and optimize Linux-based enterprise environments, storage infrastructure, and virtualization systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and tune Linux operating systems including Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and perform detailed root cause analysis.
• Administer enterprise data storage using EMC or NetApp solutions.
• Manage virtualization environments and physical server hardware, including racking and cabling.
• Automate system tasks and workflows using shell scripting and configuration management.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in IT Security, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 9+ years of experience installing and tuning Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• 6+ years of experience troubleshooting complex system issues and root cause analysis.
• 6+ years of experience with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP/HTTPS.
• 3+ years of experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM, Logical Domain, or VMware.
• 3+ years of experience with shell scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Experience with enterprise data storage administration (EMC/NetApp).
• Experience with physical server racking and cable management.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
• Experience installing and tuning Solaris 11.
• Experience writing Ansible playbooks for complex tasks.
