Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and workstations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers and workstations.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and secure access controls.
• Automate routine tasks and system maintenance using shell scripting.
• Deploy and manage storage solutions and virtualization environments.
• Execute backup, disaster recovery, and patching processes.

Required Skills

• 6 years of professional IT experience.
• Proficient Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration.
• Shell scripting proficiency in Bash, Perl, or Python.
• Experience with VMware virtualization setup and management.
• Knowledge of RHEL storage management and deployment.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery technologies.
• Familiarity with RHEL patching and configuration management.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+) required at start.

Preferred Skills

• Forcepoint Firewall and Forcepoint TTCR/HSG.
• Rubrik, Aruba Mobility Controller, or Splunk.
• VMware with vSAN, PKI, DHUMA, or THULE.

Ability to obtain DoDM 8140.03 Advanced level certification (CASP+ or CCSP).
