Description

You will manage enterprise Red Hat Unix/Linux solutions, specifically supporting RHEL 8 and 9. You will automate systems services and tasks to ensure consistency and streamline operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise Red Hat Unix/Linux environments at scale.
• Develop and maintain Shell and Python scripts for automation.
• Configure and manage LDAP services.
• Support virtualization infrastructure using VMware.
• Maintain computer hardware and perform physical maintenance tasks.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience managing enterprise Red Hat Unix/Linux solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 and 9.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python.
• Experience with LDAP configuration and management.
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Kickstart and configuration management tools (Puppet preferred).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs for hardware maintenance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting servers in cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex system issues.
