Description

Design and administer Linux-based server environments, virtualization infrastructure, and container orchestration platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer Red Hat Linux (RHEL 7/8) and mixed Windows/Red Hat environments.
• Manage VMware hypervisor infrastructure and troubleshoot server hardware issues.
• Orchestrate container workloads using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Automate system provisioning and centralized management using scripting and configuration tools.
• Monitor application performance and perform capacity planning.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in systems administration and design.
• 7+ years of experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL 7 and 8).
• 5+ years of experience with VMware hypervisor management.
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration.
• 2+ years of experience in automation using Python, Ansible, PowerShell, BitBucket, or GIT.
• Experience with server hardware troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP, DNS, and firewalls.
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite and Linux AD Bridging.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with Nutanix Hyperconverged Hardware and AOS.
• Knowledge of security compliance standards like NIST and CIS Benchmarks.
