Description

You will manage and support enterprise RedHat Unix/Linux environments, focusing on RHEL 8 & 9. You will automate systems services to ensure consistency and streamline operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise RedHat Unix/Linux solutions, preferably at large scale.
• Support and maintain RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 environments.
• Automate system services and tasks using Shell and Python scripting.
• Configure and manage LDAP and perform virtualization tasks with VMware.
• Utilize Redhat Kickstart and configuration management tools like Puppet.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Proficiency in Shell and Python scripting.
• Deep knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8 & 9).
• Experience with VMware virtualization.
• Strong understanding of LDAP configuration and management.
• Familiarity with Redhat Kickstart and Puppet.
• Ability to lift 50lbs for hardware maintenance tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting servers in the cloud.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex problems.
