Description

You will engineer automation and support for a Linux Developer Desktop VDI offering.

Responsibilities

• Engineer automation for single-click rebuilds, service discovery, and improved observability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex Linux, Kerberos, Active Directory, and NFS issues.
• Fix desktop issues at the source by updating, testing, and shipping base image configurations.
• Write technical documentation and FAQs to enable developer self-service.
• Design developer tooling to ensure managed environments remain seamless for end users.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems engineering.
• Deep proficiency in Linux environments and Ubuntu.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Kerberos, and LDAP.
• Experience managing NFS and Citrix VDI environments.
• Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for observability.
• Knowledge of Networking, Git pipelines, CI/CD, and Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
