Description

You will manage Linux systems, network equipment, and security compliance within an on-site environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration tasks in Linux environments, including shell scripting, cron jobs, log analysis, and user management.
• Configure and manage network equipment, with a preference for Cisco systems.
• Implement and maintain security protocols, ensuring compliance with DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II standards.
• Manage web-based technologies such as reverse proxies, SSL certificates, and three-tier architectures.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel to resolve issues and maintain system stability.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of system administration experience in Linux.
• Proficiency in shell scripting, iptables configuration, and mail service setup.
• CompTIA Security+ (SY0-301) or equivalent DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II compliant certification.
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTTP, service-oriented architecture, and enterprise service buses.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Linux systems.

Preferred Skills

• CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA, or RHCE certification.
• Experience with VMware infrastructure.
