Description

You will manage and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and computer systems for a geographically dispersed engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Instantiate and maintain servers and network infrastructure for software and hardware engineering teams.
• Manage integration of multi-platform environments including Linux, Windows, and macOS.
• Execute system updates, upgrades, and backups using automated tools.
• Conduct security auditing and analysis of networks and hosts to meet internal and Federal requirements.
• Provide help-desk support and maintain clear documentation of all system maintenance activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven system administration experience.
• Mastery of Red Hat Linux system and server administration.
• Proficiency with Linux command line and scripting.
• Experience with automation tools and virtualization/VDI.
• Hands-on experience with networking, firewall configuration, VPN, and PKI.
• Working knowledge of Git/GitLab.
• Understanding of RBAC across operating systems, file systems, and services.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Server and Windows Administration including Group Policy Management.
• Azure and PowerShell scripting.
• Network traffic analysis using Wireshark, t-shark, or TCPdump.
