Description

You will manage and support scalable web applications within a heterogeneous environment of thousands of virtual and physical machines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage virtual and physical machines across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Debug kernel-level issues on Linux-based platforms such as RHEL.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform.
• Manage configuration and version control using tools like Git, Bitbucket, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux/DevOps engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Linux platforms (RHEL) and kernel debugging.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Scripting expertise in Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and build automation via Terraform.
• Proficiency with Git and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Apache HTTP Server and MySQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloudera.
• Experience with Jira for information management.
