Description

You will manage and maintain enterprise Unix systems, handling installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for Linux and Solaris environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Unix systems across the enterprise.
• Manage user accounts, file systems, and network services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Provide technical support to internal users.
• Stay current with the latest Unix technologies and best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Unix system administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Unix operating systems, including Linux and Solaris.
• Experience with Unix system administration tools like vi, sed, awk, and grep.
• Experience with scripting languages, specifically Perl or Python.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Solaris-specific administration.
