Description

You will provide application support within a Unix/Linux environment, troubleshooting system, network, and application issues across enterprise infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot application, system, and network issues in enterprise environments.
• Manage service layer, middleware, and database server roles.
• Monitor system health using dashboarding and observability tools.
• Support virtual machines, containers, and cloud computing infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of application support experience in Unix/Linux environments.
• 5+ years of scripting experience using Python, Shell, or Perl.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, BigPanda, Netcool, Elastic, or Splunk.
• Strong troubleshooting skills covering web/app, middleware, and database layers.
• Working knowledge of DNS.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ActiveMQ or Kafka message-oriented software.
