Description

You will manage infrastructure lifecycle, service evolution, and technical operations for Linux/Unix environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own incident, problem, change, and risk management processes for infrastructure.
• Develop routine operational activities using automation to drive efficiency.
• Lead root cause analysis meetings to facilitate continuous process improvement.
• Partner with peer teams to ensure high availability, system stability, and optimum performance.
• Coach and mentor team members while facilitating the adoption of new technologies.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 8 years of RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and engineering.
• Deep expertise in REDHAT 8 / RHEL 8 and Unix administration.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible and Puppet.
• Proficiency with Veritas/RHEL clusters, block storage, and object storage.
• Practical knowledge of networking, virtualization, and multi-tiered application architecture.
• Experience in capacity management, resiliency, and business continuity planning.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps roles.
• Background working within financial institutions.
• Experience with data center migrations and SRDF.
