Description

Manage and triage technical issues for open-source projects, providing first-line support across GitHub repositories.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for open-source issues across GitHub repositories.
• Analyze, reproduce, and classify bugs, feature requests, and queries.
• Review and manage incoming pull requests, ensuring alignment with contribution guidelines.
• Engage with the developer community via GitHub, forums, and chat channels.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering teams with proper context and reproduction steps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments (CLI-based workflows).
• Strong understanding of web technologies and frontend debugging.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for issue analysis.
• Experience managing GitHub repositories, Issues, and PRs.
• Ability to effectively reproduce issues and analyze logs.
• Excellent written communication skills for developer-facing interactions.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting open-source projects or developer platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build systems.
