Manage and support enterprise-grade Java applications and infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 and L2 production support for Java-based applications and backend platforms.
• Monitor system health and performance using Dynatrace, SiteScope, and Splunk.
• Investigate and resolve ETL job abends, performance bottlenecks, and system alerts.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Manage patching activities, certificate renewals, and release deployments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in production support and platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java application support and Linux/UNIX environments.
• Proficient in Dynatrace, SiteScope, and Splunk for monitoring and diagnostics.
• Proficient in SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing patching cycles, certificate renewals, and release coordination.
• Familiarity with WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of ETL workflows, job dependencies, and data movement.
• Ability to work independently and lead incident resolution across teams.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., BigFix, Ansible) and scripting (Shell, Python).
