Description

You will manage and optimize hybrid Linux and Windows server environments on-site in Plano, TX.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers to ensure performance and uptime.
• Implement and maintain storage solutions including NAS, Fiber Channel, and IP SAN.
• Configure and manage IP networking components such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Develop documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in system administration on Linux platforms.
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows server environments.
• 5+ years of experience with storage technologies (NAS, Fiber Channel, IP SAN).
• 5+ years of experience in IP networking.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing hybrid environments with complex storage and networking requirements.
