Description

Manage and administer Linux and Windows environments in a classified setting, with a primary focus on Linux.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS and Windows Server OS within classified environments.
• Implement and maintain DoD STIGs, collaborating with IT and IA Analysts on POA&Ms.
• Configure and maintain networked computer hardware and SAN storage systems.
• Operate and monitor systems using environmental monitoring tools like HBSS, SolarWinds, and Splunk.
• Support Security Engineering tools and maintain networking fundamentals including subnetting, routing, and VLANs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years experience managing Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with Windows Active Directory, LDAP, and VMware.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals: subnetting, routing, and VLANs.
• Experience with SAN storage systems and Cisco networking concepts.
• Basic scripting experience for Linux and Windows.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP/SAR clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II (or higher) certification maintenance.

Preferred Skills

• Current Cisco networking certifications.
