Description

You will administer and support complex Oracle database environments for critical projects.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, manage, and monitor Oracle databases across production and non-production environments.
• Tune database performance using Explain Plan and advise development teams on optimization strategies.
• Support cross-functional teams by analyzing data relationships, constraints, and query performance.
• Develop tools using SQL, PL/SQL, and Linux shell scripting.
• Troubleshoot issues across Oracle 11g/19c databases in both development and production settings.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing large, complex database environments.
• Advanced expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development and optimization.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins or similar tools for database automation.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle internals, architecture, built-in functions, and internal views.
• Experience with tablespace consolidation, DBMS reorganization, partition, and index analysis.
• Experience working on Solaris/Linux platforms.
• Proficiency with Erwin Data Modeling tools, including star schema design.
• Hands-on experience using Oracle SQL Developer.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
