You will design and optimize internal logistics layouts and equipment strategies for automotive operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan internal logistics layouts and determine necessary equipment requirements for shop-wide material delivery.
• Design logistics process layouts and conveyance routes, evaluating equipment options against key performance indicators.
• Conduct studies to identify critical judgment criteria and support project decision-making.
• Establish new processes or improvements by analyzing existing procedures and data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain, or process layout.
• Technical degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Logistics Management.
• Strong data analysis skills for benchmarking and gathering current operational data.
• Experience with automotive industry logistics and supply chain processes.
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills to investigate information and implement practical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in New Model Body Shop Production Preparation or Mass Production.
• Knowledge of vehicle structure and processing.
• Experience planning internal logistics or conveyance processes from dock door to lineside.
