Description

You will develop and maintain data models and dashboards within the Looker ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and maintain LookML code to manage data models, explores, and dashboards.
• Map database schemas to LookML by creating views and defining measures and dimensions.
• Use SQL to inspect data, debug queries, and extend LookML functionality via custom SQL.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, business analysts, and product owners to implement requirements and test strategies.
• Translate business requirements into technical data structures.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in IT data management.
• Proficiency in LookML for defining proprietary data models.
• Strong expertise in data modeling and structuring data within Looker.
• Advanced SQL skills for query debugging and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with the Looker interface, including the IDE, LookML Validator, and SQL Runner.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
