LookML Architecture & Standards: · Define and enforce LookML development standards, ensuring all migrated dashboards adhere to Looker best practices and organizational governance. · Design the overarching Looker model structure (Explores, Views, Models) for scalability and reusability. GCP BigQuery Integration & Optimization: · Serve as the SME for BigQuery (BQ) data connections, ensuring query patterns within LookML are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency (e.g., leveraging partitioning and clustering). Complex Logic Translation: · Lead the translation of advanced legacy BI features (e.g., Level of Detail expressions, complex custom calculations) into robust and accurate LookML/SQL. · Provide mentorship and technical escalation support for junior and offshore development teams.

Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in BI development, with 3+ years specifically in LookML and Looker data modeling. · Expert proficiency in BigQuery SQL and techniques for analytical querying and optimization. · Deep experience with a legacy BI platform (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy) and the ability to translate those concepts to LookML. Relevant experience in Tableau & Qlik
