Description

You will build and maintain Looker models and reporting solutions to drive data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop LookML models using dimensions, measures, and derived tables to support business requirements.
• Design and implement persistent derived tables (PDTs) based on query complexity and runtime performance.
• Analyze data via SQL queries to assess structure, granularity, and quality for analytics.
• Optimize data availability through cache queries, persisted tables, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies such as non-unique primary keys or unexpected result sets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with LookML and the Looker platform.
• Proficiency in Snowflake and working with large-scale datasets.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
• Expertise in LookML components including dimensions, measures, and derived tables.
• Experience managing PDTs, table filters, custom formatting, and parameter selects.
• Ability to apply SQL principles and A/B testing to improve query and report performance.
• Perform unit testing via SQL Runner to validate result sets against expected outcomes.
