Description

Develop and validate 5G and LTE features and KPIs using NR 5G and LTE protocols.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate new 5G/LTE features across ML1, LL1, RRC, RLC, MAC, PDCP, and IP layers.
• Manage protocol feature validation for Android and iOS applications.
• Identify, fix, and rigorously test issues in modem and application code.
• Support customers with troubleshooting, product demonstrations, and user manual documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in LTE/5G modem protocol engineering.
• Strong Java programming skills with object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in multi-threading and memory leak optimization.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK and various Android versions.
• Experience with LTE, CDMA, EvDo, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE, and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience with wireless modem logging, analysis, and modem/application processor architectures.
• Proficiency with protocol analyzers and test tools including XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, QCAT, MA, and STT.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Android or desktop application development or validation.
• Domain knowledge in NR 5G NSA, NR 5G SA, LTE, and VoLTE.
