Description

Define and execute the architectural strategy for integrating network and infrastructure services during mergers and acquisitions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define integration strategy, principles, and models for merging acquired entities into existing environments.
• Design network and infrastructure solutions covering SD-WAN, WAN, LAN, WLAN, and cloud-based servers, storage, and databases.
• Lead proof-of-concept development and troubleshoot technical problems during integration phases.
• Author detailed technical reports documenting integration and transformation processes.
• Identify and manage all license, support, and maintenance contracts related to M&A activities.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in architecture, design, or implementation of complex IT infrastructure.
• Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in an M&A solution architect role.
• Expertise in SD-WAN, WAN (Dark fiber, Point to Point, IEPL), LAN, and WLAN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, and PAN firewalls and switches.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with VMware, Windows, and Linux compute environments.
• Knowledge of storage and backup solutions including NetApp, PURE, Veritas, Rubrik, and Zamunda.
• Experience with Microfocus or Nagios monitoring and SSL VPN remote access.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships to drive consensus on technology strategy.
