Description

Manage and support the production Macintosh environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Macintosh-based infrastructure and existing packages.
• Execute mass upgrades and patch management for Mac OS and software products.
• Deploy application patches and manage software installations.
• Troubleshoot common Macintosh applications including Adobe apps, Quark XPress, MS Office, and Final Cut Pro.
• Support Apple client and server operating systems within the production environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Macintosh administration.
• Hands-on experience with Mac OS X Snow Leopard, OS Lion, Mountain Lion, and Mavericks.
• In-depth knowledge of Apple Mac client and server operating systems.
• Experience with Open Directory and Active Directory integration.
• Basic knowledge of Windows-based systems.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with client management tools such as Apple Remote Desktop, Deploy Studio, Package maker, FileWave, or Casper.
• Scripting or programming proficiency in Python, Ruby, C, C++, or Objective C.
