Description

Build and optimize machine learning models and predictive systems to drive business decisions from large structured and unstructured datasets.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets while performing feature engineering and data preprocessing.
• Design, build, and optimize machine learning models including classification, regression, and clustering.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau to highlight key insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problems, iterate on solutions, and ensure data integrity.
• Present clear data stories and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python or R and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or matplotlib.
• Strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, regression, probability, and linear algebra.
• Experience with data wrangling, preprocessing, and large dataset analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven ability to solve complex business problems with data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data tools like Hive, Pig, or Spark.
• Familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare or insurance.
