Description

You will design and implement machine learning systems focused on recommendation, personalization, and generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of machine learning models to address customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation.
• Automate ETL pipelines and maintain models in production.
• Prototype, evaluate, and deploy new models across web, email, and paid marketing channels.
• Design A/B tests and analyze experimental results to drive project direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities for NLP and customer modeling.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of practical experience in Machine Learning.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical and statistical programming (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Experience with Natural Language Processing and LLM prompt engineering.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Experience with big data technologies including Snowflake and Spark.
• Strong background in machine learning, statistics, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proven track record of deploying and maintaining models in production.
• Knowledge of A/B test design and analysis.
• Ability to align work hours with UK/Lisbon time zones.

Preferred Skills

• PhD or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
