Description

Design and implement scalable machine learning systems to personalize user experiences for millions of users globally.

Responsibilities

• Own scalable, distributed ML systems and platforms, including data collection, feature extraction, training, serving, and validation.
• Build recommendation and search systems using advanced ML techniques.
• Automate ML platform building, testing, and deployment using CI/CD tools.
• Define technical standards and best practices for the organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years designing, building, deploying, and monitoring ML systems in large-scale production environments.
• Expertise with ML platforms: Kubeflow, TFX, Airflow, or MLflow.
• Knowledge of Feature Stores: Feast or Tecton.
• Experience with batch and streaming data processing.
• Strong knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools: CircleCI or Jenkins.
• Infrastructure as code experience using Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning and deep learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python, R, Java, or Selenium.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with recommendation and search systems for high-volume item catalogs.
• Experience with service observability, instrumentation, and monitoring.
